And, as you reflect on how you made it through life’s myriad challenges, you realize you would not be where you are today if it were not for your Phoebe.
At My Phoebe, we are living on purpose to HONOR the Phoebes who showed up for us, to HEAL from the inside out by sharing our powerful stories, and to give HOPE to others who may be drowning in life’s muddy waters.
My Phoebe is dedicated to empowering women through community building, storytelling, and providing resources to help them catch and release the curve balls life will sometimes throw their way.
We invite you to live on purpose and begin your journey to healing by sharing your story. Your story is powerful! And, as author Noelle Schwantes so eloquently reminds us, “Somewhere in the world there is a darkness only you can heal. To do it, you have to face your shame.”

My name is Jeanette Holloway
If Jeanette could sum up her life experiences into a poem, it would be Langston Hughes' Mother to Son. The poem begins with the mother telling her son how life "ain’t been no crystal stair." But, in spite of all life has thrown at her, she encourages him to keep pushing and persevering and reminds him that, if he falls down, get back up and keep moving ahead.
This is Jeanette's desire for all those whom she encounters, and she will be the first to tell you don't let your past determine your future. She believes that you have a story to tell and that your healing begins when you come to the realization that your past was part of the "you" puzzle, and the complete puzzle would not be possible without the past.
Our mission is to create a nurturing space where you can connect, heal, and thrive alongside a supportive community of like-hearted women who have walked a similar path.

🎉 We are overwhelmed with gratitude and joy as we extend our heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you for making the inaugural Phoebe Party with a Purpose on Saturday, October 21st, a resounding success. Your unwavering support has brought us closer to our mission of honoring, offering hope, and promoting healing, while empowering women to thrive.
This event was a significant milestone, the first of many on our journey to give away one million dollars and changing lives one person at a time.
Your contributions, dedication, and generosity have paved the way for us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young Phoebes through our Phoebes in Philanthropy Scholarship Fund and Phoebes in Training Mentoring Program. These programs will provide the essential tools and opportunities needed to nurture their dreams and aspirations.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Loudermilk Center for providing an exceptional venue and delectable food, setting the stage for a memorable day of celebration and unity. To Tiff's Treats, your delicious hot chocolate chip cookies warmed our hearts and added a sweet touch to the event.

At My Phoebe, we are passionate about educating, encouraging, and empowering, women and making a positive difference in our communities. Now, you have the opportunity to join us in our mission and support the scholarship fund and mentoring program. Your generous donations will go a long way in transforming lives and fostering change where it is needed the most.
My Phoebe launched the Phoebes in Philanthropy Scholarship Fund in October 2023. We awarded one $1,500 to a local high school student and will award three more scholarships through our partnership with bold.org. BIPOC female students 30 years old and older are eligible to apply if they are undergraduate, trade school, or graduate students in Georgia or New York. Our founder knows firsthand that earning an education later in life is rewarding but can be challenging. Giving women this support will help them reach their potential and know that it’s never too late to pursue their educational and entrepreneurial dreams. We also launched the Phoebes in Training Mentoring Program in partnership with Phoenix Pass. Mentoring girls aged 8 to 16 is a transformative journey that involves providing guidance and support to help them navigate life's sometimes turbulent waters. It's about being a lighthouse in the storm, offering a steady hand and a listening ear as they embark on the challenging voyage from childhood to adolescence. These formative years can be complex, with countless questions, insecurities, and societal pressures, and that's where the mentor steps in, armed with the wisdom of experience. By sharing knowledge, imparting life skills, and nurturing self-confidence, our Phoebes will help these young girls develop the resilience and strength they need to not only weather the storms but to thrive and find their unique path in the world. It's a commitment to empowering the next generation and being a source of inspiration, support, and unwavering belief in their limitless potential. Through this guidance, girls are given the tools to sail through life's muddy waters, emerge stronger, and become the confident, empowered women they are destined to be.
