We believe that when women invest in one another, lives change. Girls grow into confident young women, stories once hidden become sources of honor, hope, and healing passed from one generation to the next creates lasting impact.
The Story Behind Love My Phoebe
Love My Phoebe began with a simple realization: none of us grows alone.
Throughout her life, founder Jeanette Holloway was surrounded by women who stepped in — as mentors, relatives, church leaders, and friends — who helped guide her through difficult seasons. Reflecting on those relationships, Jeanette recognized the many "Phoebes" who had shaped her into who she is today.
The name Phoebe carries a meaning as old as time — it means "bright" and "radiant." And that is exactly what a Phoebe does: she shines her light so that others can find their own.
That truth is echoed in Scripture. In Romans 16, the Apostle Paul commends Phoebe as a leader and servant to many — a woman who used her gifts not for recognition, but to lift others. It is from this legacy that Love My Phoebe takes its name and its mission.
Jeanette founded Love My Phoebe to honor the women who poured into her life and to ensure that girls and young women today experience that same encouragement, guidance, and belief in their potential.
Jeanette graduated with honors from Georgia State University's Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy with a concentration in Nonprofit Leadership. Her commitment to service spans mentoring young girls, guiding students through college preparation and financial aid, teaching life skills to incarcerated women, and serving faithfully through her church and community.
Through Love My Phoebe, she honors the women who shaped her — while inspiring the next generation to rise with confidence, resilience, and hope.

Alina Bowie is a strategist and founder of Audacity Collective, with 20+ years of experience in accounting, spiritual formation, and organizational development. She helps Black women leaders redefine success beyond survival through strategy, cultural insight, and deep alignment, focusing on legacy, impact, and intentional living.
Rena Holmes, Esq.
Holmes Legal Group, LLC.
Rena L. Holmes, Esq. is the managing attorney of Holmes Legal Group, LLC, with a background in mortgage lending, tax law, and real estate. She holds a BBA in Finance, a JD, and an LLM in Tax and Real Estate. Her legal career spans roles in criminal and civil law, tax clinics, and public defense, and she is active in several bar associations and pro bono programs.
Velvet Washington
The Atlanta ADR Center
Velvet Washington is the Founder and President of The Atlanta ADR Center, which provides alternative dispute resolution services, meeting facilitation, and diversity training across metro Atlanta. The Center offers skilled mediators for cases of all sizes and conducts workshops and outreach on conflict management, aiming to transform how conflict is addressed in workplaces, courts, communities, and families.
