A Phoebe is that woman who has shown up in your life at the right place and right time. She is the one who comes to mind when you get to the other side of your struggle. And, as you reflect on how you made it through life’s myriad challenges, you realize you would not be where you are today if it were not for your Phoebe.
At My Phoebe, we are living in purpose and on purpose to HONOR the Phoebes who showed up for us, to HEAL from the inside out by sharing our powerful stories, and to give HOPE to others who may be drowning in life’s muddy waters.
My Phoebe is dedicated to empowering young girls and women through community building, storytelling, mentoring, and providing resources to help them catch and release the curve balls life will sometimes throw their way.
We invite you to join the Phoebehood. Live in purpose and on purpose and begin your journey to healing by sharing your story. Your story matters and is powerful! And, as author Noelle Schwantes so eloquently reminds us, “Somewhere in the world there is a darkness only you can heal. To do it, you have to face your shame.”
Meet Our Founder
My name is Jeanette Holloway...
If Jeanette could sum up her life experiences into a poem, it would be Langston Hughes' Mother to Son. The poem begins with the mother telling her son how life "ain’t been no crystal stair." But, in spite of all life has thrown at her, she encourages him to keep pushing and persevering and reminds him that, if he falls down, get back up and keep moving ahead.
This is Jeanette's desire for all those whom she encounters, and she will be the first to tell you don't let your past determine your future. She believes that you are not a mistake and your journey has purpose. She believes that all of us have a story to tell and that your healing begins when you come to the realization that your past was part of the "you" puzzle, and the complete puzzle would not be possible without the past.
Our mission is to create a nurturing space where you can connect, heal, and thrive alongside a supportive community of like-hearted women who have walked a similar path.

🎉 We are overwhelmed with gratitude and joy as we extend our heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you for making the inaugural Phoebe Party with a Purpose on Saturday, October 21st, a resounding success. Your unwavering support has brought us closer to our mission of honoring, offering hope, and promoting healing, while empowering women to thrive.
This event was a significant milestone, the first of many on our journey to give away one million dollars and changing lives one person at a time.
Your contributions, dedication, and generosity have paved the way for us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young Phoebes through our Phoebes in Philanthropy Scholarship Fund and Phoebes in Training Mentoring Program. These programs will provide the essential tools and opportunities needed to nurture their dreams and aspirations.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Loudermilk Center for providing an exceptional venue and delectable food, setting the stage for a memorable day of celebration and unity. To Tiff's Treats, your delicious hot chocolate chip cookies warmed our hearts and added a sweet touch to the event.
