A MOTHER'S SACRIFICE

MY PHOEBE is beyond the shadow of any doubt, AUDREY MAE JORDAN, my mother. Not more than a child herself, she provided agape love, caring, and Christlike guidance to my siblings and myself. Even to this present day, I continue to realize the sacrifice she made through horrific times to keep me unaware of the realities of being a poor, black statistic. Every day, I thank God he chose her for this incredibly hard task for my sake.
