The Phoebes in Philanthropy Scholarship Fund

We believe it’s never too late to pursue your goals! The Phoebes in Philanthropy Scholarship Fund was created to support BIPOC women 30 years and older who are enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, or trade school programs in Georgia or New York.

Launched in October 2023, the fund awarded its first scholarship to a local high school student. In partnership with Bold.org, we’re continuing to grow our impact by creating more opportunities for women to access education, build confidence, and pursue their goals.

We understand the unique challenges that come with returning to school later in life—juggling responsibilities while also striving for growth. This scholarship fund is our way of saying: you deserve the chance to thrive!

Natakie Eccleston

“I am overwhelmed with gratitude upon receiving the news of being selected as the recipient of the Phoebes in Philanthropy Scholarship. I am at a loss for words and find it hard to believe that I have been chosen for this incredible opportunity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and my aspirations. This scholarship means more to me than I can express. It will not only ease some of the financial burden associated with pursuing my nursing degree but also serve as a reminder of the support and encouragement I have received from your organization. I wholeheartedly believe that "Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world," and I carry this truth with me as I move forward in pursuit of my dreams. With every step, I am guided by faith, knowing that I am not alone on this journey. With heartfelt thanks and a resounding "Hallelujah!""
